About the IP exam

The IT Passport examination is the entry-level ITPEC certification for anyone who uses IT at work: not only engineers, but also business, management and administrative staff who need a solid grasp of how technology supports their organisation.

Unlike FE, the IP exam is not split into morning and afternoon papers: it is a single multiple-choice session without a break, across three domains.

Questions carry equal weight for a total of 1000 points. Candidates must reach the required minimum in each domain as well as overall.
